BHS 21st Century Fund

Client Overview: “The 21st Century Fund is a non-profit organization founded in 1998 by a dedicated group of parents, alumni and Brookline residents to serve as a sustainable source of funding for new approaches to major challenges in public high school education.”

Project Overview: 21st Century Fund had a functional website, but did not provide the staff with a simple interface for making updates to the website. Also, the layout was table based and the code included depreciated HTML elements. The site was rebuilt using a pure CSS layout. The templates were imported into aCMS and enhanced to produce XHTML 1.0 Strict valid pages. Each staff member was provided with an account to update the website via an easy-to-use WYSIWYG interface designed to provide maximum flexibility while ensuring that the look-and-feel of the site is preserved.
